The 11 students from TUFS, Japan stayed with six families consisting of lecturers from the Faculty of Languages and Communication, UniSZA. The aims of the visit are to enhance their Malay language mastery and simultaneously gain firsthand experience of living in Malaysian society. It is also the platform and catalyst of future collaboration between UniSZA and other Japanese universities.

During the four-day stay in Terengganu, these students were taken for a tour of interesting places in the state such as the State Museum, Islamic Civilization Park, Pasar Payang, Noor Arfa Batik, Perhentian Island and many more.
